TRUTH... about Capital Care Network DOCTORS not on their website
ProMedica has partnered with an organization that has employed a felon convicted of child pornography and an abortionist that has had his license revoked for prescribing abortion pills and leaving signed blank prescription pads with the staff to fill.
Thomas Williams Michaelis
Dr. Thomas W. Michaelis was convicted of Attempted Gross Sexual Imposition, Voyeurism, and Public Indecency in 1991. Each offense involved minor girls who had come to his home to visit his 14-year-old daughter. Michaelis never served jail time, however, and returned to work as an abortionist at Capital Care Network in 1997. Finally, on November 10, 2014, Dr. Michaelis was arrested and held without bail after federal grand jury indicted him on two criminal counts related to possessing and distributing child pornography. |
David Burkons (still works for the clinic)
Of the 42 reports of RU-486 events filed with the State Board of Ohio 17 reports or 41% of all the complications came from this one abortionist. Of the reports 13 incomplete abortions were reported (no information if the babies lived), 1 incident of blood clots requiring surgical aspiration, 1 serious infection and 2 incidents of severe bleeding that resulted in the emergency hospitalization of one patient who required a transfusion. Dr. Burkons license was suspended for 6 months (starting in July 2017) when the RYU-486 investigations discovered he was signing blank prescriptions for unqualified staff to complete for patients he had not seen. |
Dr. LucyAnn Nunnally still works at Capital Care Network. It appears as if Dr. Nunnally was licensed at Capital Care Network through 3/31/2018 to cover the time while Dr. Burkons' license was suspended. She is the former abortionist at Akron Women's Medical Group. She has one documented malpractice suit settled for $200,000.
